Understanding air blowers

The air blower hot tub spa pump shares many features with its water-pumping cousin.
An electric motor that is directly coupled to an impeller (or impellers, in a multistage design) and adds energy to the flow of air passing through the blower as the motor spins. The Result is velocity and pressure of the air flow increase dramatically.

When replacing a Hot tub spa blower, you must first consider certain design feature such as  the unit’s operating voltage, the orientation of the exhaust. and the blower’s position relative to the hot tub spa. Effective blower replacement depends largely upon proper sizing and you should not put a larger blower into a system. Installing a larger  blower could cause it  to overheat and melt or simply fail.
