Vertical vs. Horizontal Panels — Which Do You Have?

Vertical Cabinet Panels are installed top-to-bottom around the full perimeter of the spa, including the corner positions.

Horizontal Cabinet Panels are installed on the front cabinet door and side panels, with vertical rounded corners providing a more refined, layered look.

Both styles use the same side and back panel part. Vertical and horizontal cabinet options are available on select CAL SPAS models. If you are unsure which style your spa uses, check your existing panel orientation or contact our team for guidance.

How to Install Your CAL SPAS Cabinet Panel

Installation is straightforward and requires only a screwdriver and the appropriate screws and washers.

1. Install side panels first (Steps 1 and 5 in Cal Spas installation sequence) — the side and back panels are the same part and must go in before corner panels
2. Install the back panel (Step 3) using the same process as the side panels
3. Install corner panels (Steps 2, 4, 6, and 7) after all side and back panels are in place
4. Install front panels (Steps 8 and 9)
5. Finish with the door panel (Step 10) — align carefully and secure with the appropriate door panel screws and washers
